India Pure Water Project
Currently we are waiting for approval from the government of India to continue shipping containers of food into the country.
While we're waiting for clearance, folks are dealing with temperatures over 120 degrees in the area of Ongole, India. Many are suffering from dehydration especially the children, elderly, and infirm. The folks that run our feeding programs there have been given a unique opportunity and are asking for our help.
In this area there is a girl's orphanage, a maternity hospital and a jail whose wells have gone dry. The government was supplying them with water, but that water is now being diverted to others that the government deems more worthy. If these groups can't find another source of drinking water, they'll be forced to go without it. A 'Water Project' can be built for $1400 per facility. Water is then trucked in on a daily basis which costs another $100 on a monthly basis to fill the tank.
You can provide a way for an area to receive water for just $1,400!
To provide the gift of life-giving water on a monthly basis for just $100, click the donate button, enter the amount of $100, and choose to make it an ongoing, monthly donation. Be sure to make a note that your donation is for monthly water delivery!
